I have been hibernating this winter and in so doing have been neglecting this poor blog. Know that we are still alive and still anxiously awaiting spring! I am a little bummed because March has been a major let down so far but I am still so happy February is OVER! Anyway, over the past month or so I have been trying to keep my mind off the weather with several projects including a homemade chambray skirt (I'll post pictures when the weather is actually warm enough to wear it), refinishing my kitchen table, celebrating Jared's 33rd birthday, making lots of strawberry jam (I know it's a little early but strawberries were on sale for 79 cents a quart!) and watching Caroline grow like a weed. Speaking of the littlest one, she has finally sprouted some hair on top and her newest trick is sitting up. We're hoping the rain will stop and the mercury will rise so we can get outside and play sooner rather than later. Seriously, spring is welcome anytime now!

I don't know how many times, to how many people I have to insist to move to the Carolinas where Spring starts in february and winter doesn't start until late November!
C looks so cute.
Oh Kim- she is JUST ADORABLE!! I love her! And am still extremely jealous that you have a girl in the home- I sure don't like being the only one- and with a sweetie like that- so darling. So many projects too! You sure have been busy! And your house looks like it is a picture from a magazine- perfect!
Such a pretty smile...what a sweetie!
she is beautiful.
Refinishing my kitchen table is on my to-do list, so you better spill your trade secrets!
Thanks everyone for the nice comments!
Melissa, your comment made me laugh because my house is the farthest thing from a magazine right now! (I had just cleaned the carpet and shoved a bunch of toys out of the way to take the picture!)
Rachelle, If you are refinishing your table, I highly suggest a belt sander. Jared has one but perhaps you could rent one? Serious time saver.
