One Year Older (and wiser too!)

I turned thirty yesterday and ate me some coconut cream pie to celebrate. And just in case you are wondering, thirty is totally the new twenty. Totally.

I agree- TOTALLY the new 20. Love the pie- it looks fantastic! We had coconut cream pie for Brandon's birthday too since he isn't a fan of cake- great minds think alike! And you look incredible and way too young for 30!

Hope you have a very happy day and happy days every day after. There are so many times, I've popped onto your blog just to boost some of the happy in my day. Even your blog seems to have a spring in its step and a smile on its face--and that's just how I picture you. Love your ideas, your pictures, all the pretty and lovely you are bringing to life. Best wishes to you. Renee (Can it really be so long ago since we were all the the OSU single's ward???)

hooray for 30... the pie looks yummy! Its hard to believe we were all turning 19 when we met, and that seemed really old then. Ha!

Thanks again everyone. I'm actually excited about being thirty. I'd rather be on the early end of a decade than the late end. (Early thirties as opposed to late twenties)
Rachelle- I definitely agree- who wants to be twenty? Twenty is like, sooooo ten years ago.

It is a super cute B-day picture! But I think you couldn't take a bad picture! I hope you had a great bday.
Thirty, flirty and thriving... or something like that.
