Chair

Speaking of the flea market, I snagged this great chair a couple of weekends ago. I only paid $4 for it! Not sure if it's an original Eames but I like it's weathered look and coincidentally, it matches my globes perfectly.

i am crazy in love with this picture! yes, the chair is fantastic but the whole presentation is so ruggedly artistic. love love love the exposed brick. i would kill for a bit of that in my apartment.

Oh my gosh. I'm Autumn's sister and just clicked on yours for fun and talk about the timing...I've been scouring the web and craigslist (San Fran mind you) for a chair or chairs like this. Closest I can find it like $100. I'm SOOO jealous! I've been wanting chairs like this for months since moving into a 1951 retro house. I've been doing a little Eames research the past few days to see how to tell if it's a real chair and where to find knockoffs. Does it have any sort of labeling at all on the under side? I'm THRILLED for you! Where do you live? You can just tell me state, I'm just curious where on earth they would sell this for $4. Congrats on an incredible fine. And it looks great there.

Ah! Hi Kim! I didn't look at your pic first, whoops. I love knowing it's you! I love your globes too. I almost bought one at Goodwill today.
