Berry Picking

I went strawberry picking with my sister a couple of weeks ago and I have some tasty homemade jam to show for it- yum! I spruced up some of the jars with an idea I found here, using my favorite yellow polka dot wrapping paper for the lids and labels I made with sticker paper. (I'm still loving those two items, by the way.) I plan to give them away as gifts. Oh how I love summertime.

How cute are those jars??? I am a sucker for packaging...if I saw that in a store I would snatch it up regardless of what it contained =)

Kim, besides all the other talents you have, you are an amazing photographer! Great angles, colors, lighting, etc... I enjoy reading your blog, but I LOVE looking at your pictures. Seriously you got some skill that someone should be paying you big bucks for... Man... I wish we had had someone with your talent at the company I worked for... Maybe some of my marketing collateral would have actually been visually appealing... instead of appalling.

Oooh so yummy! I'll take some! I love strawberry jam I really need to find out if there is a place to go berry picking around here I am really missing out. It sounds so fun. And ditto to Shelley- you are amazingly talented in any way. That strawberry girl picture is fantastic!! You have to mail it to Martha or something.

How cute are those jam jars! this is the kind of cuteness that i would see done and think that i would never be able to make jam look that cute. but you can do it! i am always impressed by your craftiness...and photography skills...and numb-chuck skills.

Funny how much later Strawberries come into season up north. Anyway, I LOVE the way you did those jars. They are adorable! I made lots of jam when we went strawberry picking but my jars are not cute like yours. We have already been blueberry picking, wonder when they come in season in Ohio?
