I hate to say it out loud because I don't necessarily want summer to go away, but I'm VERY much looking forward to fall. Nothing against the month of August, but for me it's really just a vehicle to September. In addition to fall clothing, beautiful scenery and the near perfect weather, I'm anxiously awaiting college football. Mark your calendars for the first Ohio State football game on August 30th!
Although I have only gone a couple of times, this is one of my favorite summer events in Columbus. If you live in the greater Columbus area, the CAPA Summer Movie series is a must! It is America's longest running classic film series and it starts June 6th and runs every weekend through August at the historic Ohio Theater downtown. Click here for a list of this year's features. It's a fun, cheap date (tickets are only $3.50) and the venue can't be beat!
