With all the cruddy weather we've had, I've been able to hole up inside and work on a few sewing projects. I just finished making a couple burp cloths for a gal I used to work with who recently had a baby girl named Elizabeth. I had the embroidery done at a little shop close to my house because I fear that if I owned a machine, everything in my house would be monogramed, including my own body.
So I am drooling. Those are just so adorable. You are so creative.
ReplyDeleteSo cute!! I Loved the one's that you made me, very cute and useful. You are so talented. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love these burp cloths - the circle with the initial inside is such a cute idea.
ReplyDeletekim, you motivate me to sew more! I remember the cute burp cloths you made Ezra. they were so precious that we displayed them (instead of use them.) you are a very talented seamstress and decorator.
ReplyDeletethose are so cute! though, i wouldn't advise monogramming your body. i don't think that would feel too great.

Hi Kim! These are darling - I want to make some of these for our little bambino on the way. Are they difficult for someone who doesn't sew?
ReplyDeleteWelcome Stacie! I tried clicking on your blog, but it's private. I'm glad to hear you are expecting again! (Boy or girl?) These are REALLY easy to make! I think Margo recently posted some instructions on the Columbus Friends cooking blog. (The only difference, is these have a piece of flannel sewn down the center of the cloth, trimmed with ribbon and/or ric rac...) Congrats again!
